Smerillo: Poetry's Village
There is something magic in Smerillo. It will be for the quiet residence, it will be for the nature that could be breathed walking through it, it will be for the big blue that covers you in the summer or for the spread light of the snow in the winter.
It will be for all of those. But the real magic of Smerillo is in the possibility that it offers to everyone that go to visit it to find it the same, the actual soul.
Here, a "house of the soul", where to be welcomed without some demand, where to think in the quiet, on the actual one to be, leaving aside the actual one to have.
A landscape that will leave you exstasiated. And in this imaginary house, Smerillo accommodates for a long time the poetry, the noblest shapes of the art that speaks to the soul deeper.
Fragments of poetry materializes themselves in pots of stone and of ceramics painted to hand scattered here and the for the alleys, like to research a route.
That route that guide you to look at you more and more deeper,in silence merged with nature.
And tries to make you to re-discover yourselves. It is revived it, the gift, the immense gift of that "house of the soul" that nothing asks in change.
The poetry cos' is if this not deep contact with the actual one to be and with what surrounds us.
The words are clear and inspired by the poets that elected Smerillo "Stronghold of the poetry"; in it their finds the ideal place for the lyric poetry, each to its manner, to transform words in art.
Smerillo is rediscovered father of the poetry, therefore.
Some sons are already native and took everyone the actual road, other I am still in thoughts that soon words will be done.
